What a time it’s been!
This Open Beta truly showcased the ethos of Banksters, and emphasized that the concept of gamification of trading can be very successful. With thousands of Invest Runs played, players swapping positions on the leaderboard, and several real crypto winners later, the open beta brought together many in our community, with some becoming close friends outside the game.
Over this period, every week brought new challenges, new investment runs and ultimately, more players. Let’s take a deep dive into the numbers so we can paint a clear picture of the success we have garnered in the past 2 months.
We will be extending our Open Beta program, but first, let us review the progress thus far.
Over the past month, we have given away over $30,000 to our community, including over $6000 in this week alone! We are proud to say that we had over 4000+ registrations during this period, indicating significant growth in our community. Our Leaderboard Challenge alone had over 63,000 Invest runs completed by the winners, and 3 times of that amount of completed Invest runs by all players! What an incredible amount!
We ran two exciting campaigns simultaneously during this period — the Livestream Challenge and Leaderboard Challenge.
Our Livestream Challenge invited members of the community to join our Telegram chat to receive the latest updates, host a live Q&A session, and special invest runs to earn $200 every week. These invest runs would be 3 rounds, with the top two rising as winners for each round. Additionally, we gave away $50 for the most active member each week on these livestreams.
Looking back on this, we successfully planned and executed a total of 8 weekly livestream challenges, meaning we gave away over $1750 during this frantic period! During this time, our top winners were the following players; Averyan, Andrey V and Victor Melo, we hope to see more of you every Wednesday at 6pm UTC!
For our second iteration of the Livestream challenge, we created a radio styled livestream, which players seemed to enjoy, as they were able to listen to some sweet beats, keep up to date with new updates, and most importantly, relay their feedback to the Banksters team — more information on that below!
Our Open Beta Leaderboard contest, with a total prize pool of $10,000, was another campaign we ran during this period. The contest was a great success, and we had many participants. We noticed a bunch of players who fought hard to stay on top and consistently climbed back to the top of the leaderboard whenever they lost the top spot, fighting their way to earn the top prize reward every week.
That said, we want to give a special shoutout to one of our players, GodUzzy, who won over $400 in the last few weeks. During our first leaderboard challenge, players collectively totaled a score of 149,525, impressive for our campaign’s debut. Or so we thought, as you guys racked up a monster score of over 228,703 in the following week!
All in all, these two campaigns were huge hits, and we look forward to a more successful run for you all.
Expos and Conferences
Alex Altgausen, our CEO, recently attended two major events in the month of March.
From the 20th to the 24th, he attended Paris Blockchain Week, where he networked with industry experts, attended talks on emerging blockchain trends, and networked in the capital of France. The event was a resounding success with over 10,000 attendees, and multiple side events hosted by other associations during the week.
Prior to this, from March 13 to 15, Alex attended Fintech Week Tel Aviv, where he was a panelist in a discussion about gaming and NFT adoption. Specifically, he explored the ‘potential for gaming to serve as a gateway to the wider adoption of Web3 technologies’.
That’s not all, some of our other team members attended Crypto Expo Europe in Bucharest, which was jam packed with industry leaders, experts and prominent figures in the space. Our project and marketing advisor Alexandru Carbunariu, spoke on a panel discussing the ‘future of Web3 gaming; how Web3 will change the gaming industry’.

Feedback From the Community
Over the past few weeks, we have asked our community for their feedback on all our channels. Additionally, on our second iteration of our Livestream challenge, we had members hop on the radio stream to give their feedback to the Banksters team live on air.

ICYMI — Announcements
In case you missed it, we have had a bunch of announcements in the last month.
At the beginning of February, we partnered with Polygon Labs, to continue building banksters.com with Polygon’s cutting edge technology. We believe that partnering with Polygon at this stage of the games life cycle, will bode well for the future development and growth of Banksters in both the short and long term.
We recently qualified and participated in the highly anticipated inaugural BNB Chain Game Jam! Banksters have been invited to this event hosted by Binance Smart chain, to compete alongside other blockchain games. The event ran for four weeks, from the 1st of February to 24th of March, with the winner set to be announced in the coming weeks.
We launched our game on the Google Play store, so you can play your favourite Web3 trading game now on your android devices! Feel free to download the game here Banksters!
Looking ahead, we just wanted to remind everyone that the Leaderboard contest resets every Monday, and the Weekly Livestream challenge is hosted every Wednesday at 6PM UTC on our Telegram channel.
We want to emphasise how much the Banksters team appreciates the community and thanks everyone for their participation, comments and feedback in the last month.
Moving forward, we will continue to commit to providing engaging experiences for all our players, and also continue to meet the expectations of the community. If you didn’t win during this period, don’t fret — just remember that with Banksters, anyone can win!
